Political Thought in Medieval Times. - MORRALL, J.B.,

KORTE INHOUD

'This book is not, and does not claim to be, a full history of the development of medieval political thought. For so ambitious a work a limit of 150 pages would plainly be insufficient. But we have here an admirably clear and thoughtful account of the most important phases in that development; and the account is all the more welcome for being written in a very pleasing and readable style. As s general introduction to a subject which has attracted the attention of many able scholars, more particularly in the past fifty of sixty years, it could hardly be bettered.' (AUBREY GWYNN in An Irish Quarterly Review, 1958, p.335).
