Fundamentals of organic chemistry - Ralph J. Fessenden, Joan S. Fessenden

KORTE INHOUD

This text is a one-semester (or one to two quarters) introduction to organic chemistry intended for majors in science and science-related fields, including agriculture, biological sciences, home economics, nursing, and pharmacy.
Because students using this text may not take additional courses in chemistry, we have attempted, whenever feasable, to relate organic chemistry to everyday life and to other disciplines. For additional interest value, we have included a brief "Point of Interest" at the end of each chapter. The various topics covered in these include biographical asides, applications of organic chemistry in consumer products, and organic chemistry in nature.
