From the introduction: This paper 'gives an account of the discovery in the Library of Ripon Cathedral of the unique printed copy of Laurentius Gulielmus' 'Epitome' on his larger work on rhetoric (the 'Nova Rhetorica'), its identification as a product of the press of William Caxton (Section I), a comparison of it with the classical model on which it is pricipally based, the anonymous 'Ad Herennium' (Section II), and a transcript of its (often mutilated) text (Section III).'
