Julio Le Parc (*1928 in Mendoza) is one of the best-known kinetic artists in the world. After studying in Argentina, Le Parc moved to Paris in 1958, where he and other young artists, including Fran?ois Morellet, founded GRAV (Groupe de Recherche d'Art Visuel) in 1960. At the time, Le Parc had already begun making his first light works and mobiles, which he continued to develop over the following years. This large-format publication contains a comprehensive selection of the Argentine artist's works using light and movement, most of which were made in the 1960s.
