This book is intended for professional designers and design students, to help them improve their formgiving skills. A large number of inspirational techniques is presented in three categories: rational, intuitive and contemplative. Jan Corremans is associate professor Product Development at the Faculty of Design Sciences of the University of Antwerp. He is responsible for several bachelor and master courses, including Product & Communication and Advanced Product Design.
Maaike Mulder-Nijkamp is lecturer/researcher Industrial Design Engineering with the University of Twente, the Netherlands. She is responsible for several bachelor and master courses, including Design Sketching and Graphic Language of Products.
