Legacy of light - Constance Sullivan

1st edition

KORTE INHOUD

A rather unique event in photographic publishing, Legacy of Light is a testament to the Polaroid camera: 205 striking photographs (of which 105 are in full color) by 58 photographers - and they don't look like any polaroid shots I ever took. Editor Constance Sullivan assembled the aggregation after reviewing hundreds of polaroids from public and private collections. The text include Schjeldahl's intro to the topic, "The Instant Age", followed by four trenchant essays dealing with topical sections of the book: "Landscape" (Greta Ehrlich); "Portrait" (Robert Stone); "The Nude" (Richard Howard); and "Object and Form" (Diane Johnson).
