?The present thesis (?) deals with the ?interpretation, authorship and date of the ?Alcibiades Maior?. The author?s detailed reconsideration of the case for authenticity has not led to any surprising revelations. (?) The most substantial and most interesting section of the book, however, is the part devoted to the interpretation of the text.
