'Blass first produced this grammar in 1896 and Debrunner undertook it from the fourth edition (1913). His last edition was the ninth (1954) and to the twelfth edition (1965) D. Tabachovitz added a supplement. (...) The present edition is the first produced by F. Rehkopf. The whole work has been revised and enlarged, the format and presentation are much improved and the indexes are usefully extended. In other directions brevity has been studied. Not all the eliminations are welcome (...). It remains a valuable tool for many studies, and we must congratulate reviser, publisher, and printer on what is still a very presentable and serviceable volume.' (G.D.
