Douglas Young (1913 - 1973) was a classical scholar, Scottish poet, translator and politician. He was the leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) 1942-1945. He was lecturer in Greek at the University of St Andrews from 1953 to 1968. From then till his death he was professor of Classics in Canada. From the library of the late Sir Kenneth James Dover.
