Born in 1931 in Ghent, she decided her artistic career in 1949 in Rome, where her father ran the Academia Belgica. Graduated from the l'Acad mie des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles, she will wait for the early 70s to concentrate on her art, what she slowly prepared during the time of the education of her 4 children.
